“The Lake View Toya Nonokaze Resort strikes me as a place of curated experiences: imagine soaking in an infinity onsen overlooking Lake Toya, followed by a buffet that, while broad in scope, perhaps misses some of the finer points of local cuisine; the nightly fireworks, viewable from private onsen rooms, definitely elevate the stay. Despite some quirks in the room design, its location near Shikotsu-Toya National Park makes it an ideal base for exploration, if a little remote. It's a property with moments of genuine luxury.”
